More than 25 years’ experience.
Luke and Tracey Daglish are the experienced leaders behind Highview Builders. Based in Invercargill, Highview and their qualified building team service the Southland region for all building and construction needs.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the building industry, Luke has worked on all manner of building projects, small scale to large, residential to commercial. In addition to building, Luke is a uniquely skilled craftsman, specialising in the manufacture of concrete bench tops, hearths and mantles and tiling. Luke has a keen eye for style combined with build practicality, and can provide feedback and input to architects for design refinement during the build.
Our experience means we’re able to work the most complex of plans, and deliver them on time and on budget. We’ve worked in high end builds for many years, as well as completing light commercial work.
Highview Builders are experienced project managers, and we pride ourselves on our outstanding communication with our clients, because we believe in transparency. It’s important for clients to understand and be across their projects. We’re able to explain every part of the process and what comes next, meaning there’s never any guesswork and the stress of the unknown is taken away.
Our journey first started in Queenstown where Luke carried out his building apprenticeship at Millbrook Resort and then went on to establish Highview Builders in 2007, specialising in building architectural homes in the Wakatipu Basin. In 2013, the business was moved to Invercargill for Luke and Tracey to be based closer to family.
Our name comes from what we want to achieve for our clients – the high view. Whether or not a build is elevated, we want our clients to feel on top of the world when their projects are completed.
